Germark, the first Spanish company to win an award from the World Label Association, considered the Oscars of the label sector

Cornellà de Llobregat, June 2019.- Germark, the leading label manufacturer in Spain, has just consecrated itself in the Olympus of its sector.

We have won one of the World Label Awards, prizes awarded by the World Label Association, a federation that brings together the different associations of label manufacturers in the world, making us the first Spanish company to achieve this. “It is the highest recognition that exists in the world of the label and for that reason the prize makes us especially happy to receive it”, explains Iban Cid, our general director, who qualifies the distinction as “the oscar” of the sector.
The prize, recently awarded at the European Label Forum congress of FINAT (Féderation INternationale des fabricants et transformateurs d’Adhésifs et Thermocollants sur papiers et autres supports) in Copenhagen, has been awarded to Germark thanks to the Mask Shikiso label – Protection UV Rays , in the category of “Cosmetics”. “The innovation that has the label, which is applied to a container of hair mask, is that the plastic is not stuck but can be opened and closed evoking in a red tone the protection of the product against the UV rays of the sun” says Cid. The label has surpassed the works presented by the rest of associations of printers of labels during the past year: TLMI, of the United States; JFLP, from Japan; FPLMA, from Australia; SALMA, from New Zealand; PEIAC, from China; and LMAI, from India. In fact, to compete in the world competition before, you must have won the competition locally, in this case that of FINAT.
In addition, we have received two more prizes in the latest edition of the awards that FINAT convenes annually in the digital printing category for a label that is also for the cosmetics sector. To the competition have been presented about 300 works of fifty companies from 26 countries. Germark has already been awarded in previous occasions in this contest.
