QUALITY, ENVIRONMENT AND FOOD SAFETY POLICY

The Management Policy of GERMARK, S.A. It is based on the commitment to continuous improvement, through the following principles:

To this end, the GERMARK Management undertakes to:

The Management of GERMARK is also committed to complying with current legislation and other applicable requirements in environmental matters and to have the necessary means for the implementation, development and effectiveness of the Integrated Management System for Quality, Environment, Food Safety and Safety System. Chain of custody.

 

For specific products, we agree to comply with the specific Halal and Kosher legislation requested by customers.

 

With respect to Halal certification, GERMARK Management is committed to:

  • Raise awareness and train staff regarding Halal production
  • Maintain the commitment to the Halal concept, to the production of Halal products and to compliance with the requirements established in the Regulations for the Use of the Halal Guarantee Mark of the Islamic Board (RMGHJI).
  • Comply with the requirements established by the certification entity (Terms and Conditions) and submit to the RMGHJI sanctioning regime.
  • That all Halal production be carried out with Halal products.

Furthermore, you declare that you are not involved directly or indirectly in any of the following activities:

  • Illegal logging or trade in illegal timber or forest products;
  • Violation of traditional and human rights in forestry operations;
  • Destruction of high conservation values in forestry operations;
  • Significant conversion of forests to plantations or other uses;
  • Introduction of genetically modified organisms in forestry operations;
    Violation of any of the ILO Fundamental Conventions, as defined in the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, 1998.

The organization’s commitment will also transcend to:

  • CHILD LABOR: Not hiring workers below the minimum legal age.
  • EQUALITY: Promoting non-discrimination, equal opportunities and respect.
  • NON-DISCRIMINATION: Due to gender, race or religion, promoting and carrying out non-discriminatory practices.
  • FREEDOM OF ASSOCIATION: Respecting the right of its employees to be part of a union and to represent workers both at the exclusively labor level (union delegate) and health and safety (prevention delegate).
  • FORCED LABOR: Rejecting the use of forced labor and retention of workers’ original identity documents.

To this end, the Management considers of vital importance the training and qualification of all personnel who work for the Organization and on its behalf, as well as maintaining communication channels that allow a correct flow and analysis of information in the Organization that facilitates the management and improvement of all processes included within the Integrated Management System for Quality, Environment, Food Safety and Chain of Custody.

 

For the application of this policy, objectives are defined in accordance with it, which are periodically reviewed to ensure compliance.
